Founded in 2014 by industry veteran John Giesing, Choice Control Audio Video, Inc. was built on a simple principle: every client deserves technology solutions as unique as their lifestyle. With over 13 years of experience before launching the company, John saw a growing need for a more personalized, service-driven approach to audio, video, home automation, networking, and surveillance installation. Our Team
John Giesing – Founder, President
John started his career in 2002 at a mid to high-end AV retailer, rapidly developing a deep expertise in home automation, AV integration, and control systems, while keeping pace with the rapidly evolving world of technology. After more than a decade in the industry, John founded Choice Control Audio Video in 2014 with a mission to deliver seamless, customized audio and video solutions for homes and businesses.
Under John’s leadership, Choice Control Audio Video has earned a reputation for reliable, high-quality systems and truly personalized service. John’s hands-on approach and passion for innovation ensure that every project exceeds expectations - something he’s reminded of every time he sees the big smile on a client’s face when their new system comes to life.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs, often heading to the dog beach to unwind and recharge.
Jeff Goldstein - Project Manager, Programmer
Jeff is a veteran of the custom installation industry for more than 30 years. After 10 years with a small AV company, he went on to start his own installation firm which he ran for close to 15 years. In 2021 Jeff joined forces with John Giesing at Choice Control to help form a great partnership which has helped to expand and strengthen the offerings and capabilities that Choice Control Audio Video can provide for their clientele.
With 3 full decades of experience, Jeff is highly skilled at all aspects of the installation project. His attention to detail and ability to see outside the box, help make for highly customized, neat, and successful installations. He particularly enjoys creating and programming controls systems for all size projects, from single room universal remote controls, to large integrations that include a mix of handheld remotes, wall mounted touchpanels, and mobile devices, capable of operating multiple rooms, audio, video, lights, motorized shades, and more!
When he is not running cables and designing home automation systems, Jeff enjoys playing and watching soccer, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
